Here is a picture of the birds nest at sunset. As we drove in to the city from the airport the sky opened up and blue sky shown through. Security is very tight and this about as close as you could get without yellow badge. Tonight they are practicing for opening ceremony. We have a free morning tomorrow and will explore and report back.

The girls love the blog. Syd told all her friends that her family was in China for the Olympics. You can't post enough pictures, love it.

The pictures are great! I am following this adventure every day! Hope you are not gasping for fresh air--the newspaper coverage today (8/5) was gloomy!
